There are several bald eagle nests near B.L. Ander's Maine home and he has spent a great deal of time hunting them with a telephoto lens. These birds are his personal favorite and he has done more eagle portraits than any other bird. He takes great pleasure in simply watching the eagles sour over the river in search of a quick meal. It is impressive to see such a large bird dive from up high to snatch its next snack from the waters then climb back into the sky with its prize firmly snagged in powerful talons. There is no wonder as to why it is considered such a majestic bird. Long live the American Bald Eagle. |
Bird artist B.L. Ander has a love for realism art, spending a great deal of time studying birds in the wild as well as in bird sanctuaries. His limited edition realism art collection is dedicated to our winged neighbors, his favorite being the eagle portrait. When still a young child, B.L. Ander spent countless hours studying and duplicating the watercolors of John James Audubon, which was the beginning of a life-long tendency toward realism art. He enjoys the challenges of creating realism art in various mediums. |
| Each realism art print in the B.L. Ander giclee limited edition print collection is printed with archival materials designed to produce long lasting rich color. Additionally, each giclee limited edition print is signed and numbered by B.L. Ander. This limited edition consists of 200 art prints and 10 proof prints. |
