A bull moose crossing the backwater of Lower Sabao Lake, Maine. In the early morning hours when the mist still blankets the water, B.L. Ander can often be found in his kayak, waiting patiently for one of the resident moose to make an appearance. More often than not, the moose are feeding at another location on the lake, a mile or so away. It's all in the timing, sometimes Mother Nature cooperates by providing the artist with something special, while at other times she has the last laugh. What a fickle old girl she is.

B.L. Ander has a love for wildlife art, spending a great deal of time studying creatures in the wild as well as in zoos. His limited edition wildlife art collection is dedicated to nature's diversity. As a young child, B.L. Ander spent countless hours studying and duplicating the wildlife prints of John James Audubon, which led to a life-long tendency towards wildlife art. He enjoys the challenges of creating realism images in a variety of mediums and styles.
