Moose can be quite elusive, especially in the fall during hunting season, they seem to know when hunters are about. B.L. Ander dedicates much time to stalking moose with a camera rather than a gun and can often be found in the early morning hours or the sunset hours staking out moose habitats; waiting. Many times he uses a kayak to access some of the more remote locations.

B.L. Ander has a love for wildlife art, spending a great deal of time studying creatures in the wild as well as in zoos. His limited edition wildlife art collection is dedicated to nature's diversity. As a young child, B.L. Ander spent countless hours studying and duplicating the art print watercolors of John James Audubon, which led to a life-long tendency towards realism art. He enjoys the challenges of creating realism art in a variety of mediums and styles.
